Two farmers injured, seven cattle killed in lightning strikes in Asifabad

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Two farmers sustained injuries and seven cattle were killed in separate lightning strike incidents in the district on Thursday.
The farmers, identified as Abhi and Mallesh of Bodhampalli village in Koutala mandal, suffered minor injuries while working in their backyard when lightning struck. They were immediately shifted to a hospital in Kagaznagar and are reported to be out of danger.
In a separate incident at Laxmipur village in Tiryani mandal, four cows and three young bullocks were killed after being struck by lightning. The cattle owners have appealed to the government for compensation for the livestock loss.
