Two from Andhra Pradesh killed in Outer Ring Road crash near Adibatla
Two men from Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh, including an actor, died after their car crashed into a container truck on the Outer Ring Road near Adibatla in the early hours of Sunday. Police suspect rash and negligent driving.
HYDERABAD: Two persons from Andhra Pradesh were killed in a road accident at Outer Ring Road, Adibatla, here on Sunday early hours.
According to the police, the victims, K Bharat Kanth (31), an actor and G Sai Trilok (31), both natives of Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, were travelling on the Outer Ring Road stretch between Bongloor and Thukkuguda. “When the car reached near exit number 12, Bharat Kanth, who was driving the car, rammed into a container truck ahead of the car. Both Bharath Kanth and Sai Trilok suffered serious injuries and died on the spot,” said Inspector Adibatla, B Ravi Kumar.
The police suspect the accident occurred due to the rash and negligent driving of the car driver.
The Adibatla police, with the help of Outer Ring Road patrolling personnel, shifted the bodies to Osmania Hospital mortuary. A post-mortem examination was conducted and bodies were handed over to family members.
