Two from Jagtial killed in Andhra bus accident

Jagtial: Two persons from Jagtial died in the bus accident that took place near Rayavaram, Markapuram district of Andhra Pradesh in early hours of Thursday.

Eight passengers had  boarded the ill-fated private travels bus in the district. Of them, two died when the vehicle caught fire after it was hit by a gravel laden tipper.


The deceased from Jagtial were identified as Uppu Rama Devi from Ramaraopalli and Venkatesh from Ayodhya of Raikal mandal. Natives of AP, they had migrated to the district to work as construction labourers.

Belonging to Harikrishna Travels, the ill-fated bus started from Nirmal on Wednesday afternoon and picked up eight passengers in the district in the evening. While six passengers boarded the vehicle at Korutla, remaining two in Jagtial.
