Two girls from Mancherial shine in state-level taekwondo competition

Karla Shreeja won the gold medal under 40 kg segment, while Asmitha got another gold medal under 63 kg category and Jagadish bagged bronze medal in 73 kg segment.

Mancherial: Two girls and a boy from the district shined in a state-level under-19 taekwondo competition hosted by School Games Federation at Sadashivapet in Sangareddy district from Sunday to Monday.

Coach Manda Srinivas said that Karla Shreeja won the gold medal under 40 kg segment, while Asmitha got another gold medal under 63 kg category and Jagadish bagged bronze medal in 73 kg segment.

Shreeja, Asmitha and Jagdish and Srinivas were congratulated by district Taekwondo Association president B Rama Rao and secretary Venkata Swamy.
