Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force on Thursday caught two persons who were in possession of country-made weapons and recovered two pistols from them.
Those arrested were identified as Mudassir Hussain alias Shah Baba (24), a resident of Khilwat, in the city and Ameer Khan (26), resident of Degloor Naka in Nanded.
According to the police, Hussain and Ameer Khan are friends and have previously been involved in criminal cases. On Thursday, the duo were travelling in a car when, acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted them on the Mailardevpally road and seized the weapons.
The police seized two country-made pistols, seven bullets and a Baleno car from their possession.
