Two held for murder of woman at Bahadurpally, Dundigal police probe extramarital link
Two men were taken into custody for allegedly killing a 21-year-old woman, Swathi, at Bahadurpally on Friday night. Police suspect the prime accused had an extramarital relationship and financial disputes with the victim. Investigation is underway.
Hyderabad: The Dundigal police took two persons into custody in connection with the murder of a woman at Bahadurpally on Friday night.
According to the police, the woman, Swathi (21), stayed with her son at Green Hills Colony, Bahadurpally. Due to some issues with her husband, she was staying separately in a rented accommodation.
Swathi got acquainted with two persons – Kishan, who was known to her since the time she was having issues with her husband. He also arranged the accommodation for her in a building under his possession and – another person Rajesh, who is a friend of Kishan.
Before shifting to the city, Swathi had filed a complaint against her husband at her native place for attempting to kill her.
On Friday night, Kishan and Rajesh went into the building and allegedly slit the throat of Swathi in front of her son. They later escaped. The police traced and took both of them into custody.
The police said that Kishan was maintaining an extramarital affair with Swathi leading to issues in his family. Also, the man was having some financial disputes with the victim. The police are investigating.
