Hyderabad: Two persons were caught on charges of illegal possession and selling of heroin and marijuana at Ramgopalpet late on Friday. Police seized 30 grams heroin and 200 grams of marijuana from them.
According to the police, Lal Chal Momin (23) and his cousin Jasimuddin Momin (28), both construction workers from West Bengal, who had come to Hyderabad in search of work and were currently staying in a men’s hostel at Nanakramguda, had procured drugs from their native place and transported it by train to Hyderabad. They were waiting for prospective customers at Ambedkar Nagar in Ramgopalpet when police nabbed them.
The Ramgopalpet police are checking the list of drug peddlers and customers the suspects were in contact with.
