Hyderabad: The Meerpet police raided a house at Karmanghat late on Thursday and arrested two persons including a woman on charges of human trafficking.

The arrested persons were R. Anitha (40), the organizer and house owner, and J. Raj Kumar (25), a construction worker from Champapet in Saroornagar.

According to the police, the flesh trade was being organized from the house for the last three months by Anitha, by procuring women from Mumbai, West Bengal and other places. She brought women promising jobs, but forced them into flesh trade instead, police said.

Following a tip-off, the Meerpet police team raided the premise and arrested Raj Kumar, who was there as a customer, and Anitha.
