Karimnagar: Karimnagar Commissionerate police arrested two persons for black marketing Remdesivir injections and selling them at higher price. Four injections and two mobile phones were recovered from them.

Based on reliable information, Task Force police kept a watch on the movements of some persons and detained Pogula Thirupathi and Pogula Manohara during a raid in Aadarshanagar on Saturday.


Thirupathi and Manohara, working as compounder and pharmacist in a private hospital, used to sell injections at Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000.

A case was registered against Thirupathi and Manohara with three town police.
