Two held with banned tobacco products worth Rs.1.5 lakh in Hyderabad
Acting on a tip off, the team caught Mohd Saber (56) of Santoshnagar and Mohd Habeeb (29) of Chandrayangutta while they were smuggling gutkha and other banned tobacco products from Karnataka into the city in the car.
Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (South) on Tuesday night caught two persons who were transporting banned tobacco products in a car at Santoshnagar. The police seized stuff worth Rs. 1.5 lakh and a car from them.
Acting on a tip off, the team caught Mohd Saber (56) of Santoshnagar and Mohd Habeeb (29) of Chandrayangutta while they were smuggling gutkha and other banned tobacco products from Karnataka into the city in the car.
Both the persons along with the property were handed over to Santoshnagar police for further action.
