Two horses critically injured in Balapur road mishap, rescued
Two horses were critically injured after being hit by a four-wheeler on the Balapur–Venkatpur road on Saturday night. Prompt action by Balapur police and PFA Abhaya volunteers helped rescue the animals, which are now receiving treatment.

Hyderabad: Timely intervention by the Balapur helped save the lives of two horses, which were critically injured after a four-wheeler rammed into them on Saturday night.
The incident occurred on the Balapur – Venkatpur road when the horses were walking on the road, and an unknown four-wheeler rammed into the animals. The local people noticed the horses lying on the road and informed the Balapur police. The police reached the spot and, after noticing the horses were seriously injured, informed the People for Animals Abhaya (PFA Abhaya) organisation.
The PFAA volunteers came to the spot and shifted the animals with the help of police into a vehicle. They were then taken to the rescue and care centre. The horses are currently undergoing treatment at the facility, and efforts are being made to identify their owner.
