Two injured as car overturns on PVNR Expressway in Hyderabad

Two people were injured after a car carrying five occupants overturned on the PVNR Expressway near pillar 161. The vehicle, travelling from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, lost control and hit a divider, causing traffic disruption before being cleared.

Hyderabad: Two people were injured when a car overturned on the PVNR Expressway on Thursday afternoon.

The car with five people travelling was on its way from RGI Airport towards Mehdipatnam. On reaching pillar number 161, the driver lost control and rammed into the divider. The vehicle flipped and fell on the other side of the road. The road users rushed to the rescue of the car occupants and pulled them out of the vehicle.

A heavy traffic jam was reported for some time on the PVNR Expressway following the incident. The Rajendranagar traffic was diverted the traffic till semblance was restored on the expressway.
