Hyderabad: Two workers were injured, allegedly when a reactor exploded in a chemical company, at the industrial area in Saregudem in Dundigal on Tuesday.
Sources said the mishap occurred when the workers, Mahesh (32) and Srinu (35), along with co-workers were working on the chemical reactor, wherein alkaline metals undergo chemical reactions. Other workers rushed to their rescue and shifted them to a private hospital in Balanagar. Their condition was said to be stable and they were under observation. The Dundigal police are investigating.
