Two killed as private traveller bus rams into lorry in Adilabad
Two people, including a child, were killed and three others injured when a Hyderabad–Gorakhpur private bus crashed into a lorry at Boath crossroads in Adilabad on Sunday. Police suspect negligent driving; the driver is absconding.

Adilabad: Two passengers were killed on the spot and three others were injured when a private traveller bus rammed a lorry at Boath crossroads near Neradigonda mandal centre on NH 44 early on Sunday.
Police said a five-year-old boy and a 60-year-old man died on the spot. Their identities were yet to be confirmed. Three other passengers received minor injuries and were shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Adilabad. Police helped the remaining passengers out of the bus.
According to police, rash and negligent driving by the bus driver might have led to the accident, and the exact cause would be known after examining the bus dash camera. The driver went absconding.
The bus was carrying around 60 passengers from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.
