Two killed as trolley overturns in Khammam’s Yerrupalem

Two men died in Khammam district when a tractor trolley carrying soil overturned and fell on their motorcycle at Buchireddypalem village in Yerrupalem mandal on Sunday.

Khammam: Two persons died when a tractor trolley hit the motorbike on which they were travelling at Buchireddypalem village of Yerrupalem mandal in the district.

The incident occurred when the deceased, Pesaramilli Nagaraju (34) of the village and Korakoppula Ramesh (42) of Kothapalli in Andhra Pradesh were returning from a marriage ceremony at Yerrupalem on Sunday. The tractor trolley carrying a load of soil hit the bike; overturned and fell over the bike.

The duo suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot. On learning about the incident, the local Sub-Inspector of Police, M Ramesh Kumar rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies; registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
