Kalwakurthy: Two persons were killed in a road accident when the motorcycle they were riding hit a roadside wall at JP Nagar of Peddakothapally mandal on Thursday.
According to the police, the deceased were identified as Venkataswamy (55) and his relative Lakshmi (25). The incident happened when Venkataswamy lost control of the vehicle and hit the wall while they were on the way to their native village Gantravpally. Lakshmi, who was seriously injured, died on the spot, while Venkataswaky died while being rushed to a hospital. Both, residing in Hyderabad, were going to their village to celebrate the festival.
