Two killed in separate accidents in Hyderabad
Two persons died in separate accidents in Hyderabad. A man was killed in a suspected hit-and-run while taking a U-turn near Shamshabad, while another man died after accidentally falling from the second floor of a building while erecting a banner.

Hyderabad: Two persons were killed in separate accidents in the city on Saturday night.
In the first incident, a 32-year-old man, P Vijay, a resident of Gagan Pahad, was killed on the Shamshabad – Shadnagar road on Sunday morning. According to the police, Vijay, along with two other friends, was taking a U-turn at Madanapally village road when an unknown vehicle rammed into them at high speed. Vijay and his two friends fell on the road and suffered serious injuries. Vijay died on the spot after bleeding heavily, while the other persons who suffered injuries were shifted to hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. A case is registered by Shamshabad police.
In the other case, a 50-year-old man, Muneer Khan, a resident of Mohammednagar, Chandrayangutta, died after falling down from the second floor of a building when he went to erect a banner at the request of a shop owner. “Muneer slipped and fell on the ground accidentally from the second floor. He suffered serious injuries and died while undergoing treatment at Osmania Hospital,” said P Mahender, sub-inspector, Bandlaguda police station.
