Two killed in separate road accidents in city suburbs

Two individuals, V Venkataiah, a farmer, and J Yashwanth Kumar, a software engineer, died in separate road accidents in Kandukur and Balapur on Saturday night

Hyderabad: Two people were killed in different road accidents in city suburbs on Saturday night.

A farmer died in a road accident at Kandukur in Ranga Reddy district on Saturday night.


The victim, V. Venkataiah (55), was going on Kandukur Road when his vehicle skidded and he fell on a big stone, leading to a head injury.

Death was instant for him, said the police. A case is registered. In another case, a software engineer died at Balapur after a tusker vehicle hit his bike on Saturday night.

J Yashwanth Kumar, (29), was going to the office on Saturday night around 10:30 pm when a Tusker vehicle driver who was taking a u-turn hit the bike at Shivaji Chowk, said the Balapur police. The man fell on the road and suffered a head injury.

He died on the spot. A case is registered against the driver of the vehicle.
