Hyderabad: Two persons were killed and one suffered serious injuries when they rammed their motorcycle into barricades placed carelessly on the road at Kanchanbagh on Saturday night.

C Sai Akhil (22) of BN Reddynagar and a native of Miryalguda, and P Madhu (24), a resident of Karmanghat and a native of Nagar Kurnool, along with their friend Shiva Kumar, were going on a bike from DMRL crossroads to Chandrayangutta.

“When they reached Vikas High School, the trio, who were going at high speed, rammed into the barricades placed in the middle of the road and, on falling, hit the cement blocks of the road divider. All three were shifted to the hospital, where doctors pronounced Akhil and Madhu as dead. Shiva Kumar is undergoing treatment,” said Kanchanbagh sub-inspector G Linga Raju.
