Two killed, three injured as car crashes into tree in Telangana’s Adilabad
According to reports, the driver lost control over the vehicle at a curve and hit the tree, resulting in the mishap.

Adilabad: A woman and a teenager died on the spot, while three others from two families were injured after their car crashed into a tree near Birsaipet village in Utnoor mandal early on Monday.
According to police, Ganta Vijayalaxmi (55) of Adityanagar in Adilabad town and her nephew Eerla Saharsh (14) of Rickshaw Colony in Bellampalli suffered grievous injuries in the crash and died instantly.
Vijayalaxmi’s niece, Eerla Srujana, her husband Raju, and their 12-year-old daughter Adhyasri sustained injuries in the accident.
The injured were first taken to the government hospital at the Utnoor mandal headquarters and later shifted to RIMS-Adilabad for better treatment. Adhyasri was subsequently rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad, where her condition was reported to be critical.
Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle at a curve, leading to the accident. The family was travelling from Bellampalli to Adilabad at the time of the mishap.
Vijayalaxmi’s brother, Saram Jaganmohan, lodged a complaint with the police. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
