Two killed, two injured as tractor overturns in Kumram Bheem Asifabad
Two persons were killed and two others injured after a tractor carrying cement poles overturned at a curve near Babasagar village in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district. Police suspect the driver lost control of the vehicle. A case has been registered.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Two persons were killed on the spot, while two others sustained injuries after the tractor in which they were travelling overturned at a curve near Babasagar village on Tuesday.
Police said Challa Ashok and Pandith Rao from Kerameri sustained fatal injuries when the tractor overturned at the curve. They died on the spot. Bheem Rao and Ramu were injured in the mishap. The tractor was transporting cement poles meant for fencing at the time of the accident.
Police suspected that the driver might have lost control of the vehicle at the curve, resulting in the accident. The bodies have been shifted to a government hospital in Sirpur (T) town for post-mortem. A case has been registered. An investigation has been taken up. Further details are awaited.
