Two lensmen killed, two injured in Rajiv Rahadari crash near Siddipet
Two young cameramen lost their lives and two others were critically injured in a road accident near Pragnapur on Rajiv Rahadari, Siddipet. The group of four photographers was returning to Hyderabad after covering a marriage ceremony when their car hit a divider and collided with a lorry.
Siddipet: Two cameramen were killed in a road accident while two other crew members sustained serious injuries as the car they were travelling in hit the road divider and jumped over it before ramming into a lorry coming in the opposite direction on Rajiv Rahadari near Pragnapur on Sunday.
The team of four professional photographers was on their way back to Hyderabad after completing their job at a marriage ceremony in Siddipet. The team members are Akhil (21), Goutham (23), Anirudh and Prem, all natives of Ibrahimpatnam and surrounding villages. While Akhil and Goutham died on the spot, Anirudh and Prem sustained serious injuries.
They were rushed to the government hospital in Gajwel for treatment. The condition of Anirudh is said to be critical. Gajwel ACP Narsimhulu, Inspector Ravi Kumar and their team visited the accident site. A case was registered.
