Warangal Urban: Two MBA graduates were arrested for their alleged involvement in chain-snatching cases here on Saturday. The police recovered three gold ‘managalasutrams’ weighing 75 grams and valued at around Rs 6 lakh, two motorcycles and two cell phones from the duo.
The arrested were identified as Pulluri Rajesh (32) of Dharmaram village of Jammikunta mandal in Karimnagar district, and Battula Raju (32) of Gollagudem village of Saidapur mandal in Karimangar district. While Rajesh runs a pan shop, Raju works as a medical representative. The two were alcoholics and ‘jalsas’ and this led to their taking up crime, targetting women moving alone for chain snatching, police commissioner Tarun Joshi said on Sunday.
