Two minor boys drown in water tank in Bhupalpally
Arjun and Raj Kumar, who were friends, went to the Voorakunta Cheruvu for a swim
Jayashankar Bhupalpally: In a tragic incident, two minor boys met with a watery grave at Nagaram village of Bhupalpally mandal in the district on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Sudhidi Arjun Prasad (7), son of Ram Babu, and Burri Raj Kumar (8), son of Saduvali, from the same village.
Arjun and Raj Kumar, who were friends, went to the Voorakunta Cheruvu for a swim. They drowned in the tank since they did not know swimming. With he children not returning home, the parents searched for them in the village and found the clothes on the tank bund. The bodies were retrieved with the help of swimmers. Bhupalpally police registered a case and took up investigation. The bodies were shifted to government hospital at Bhupalpally for postmortem.
