Two minors died in a road accident in Khammam
Two minors died after a car hit their motorbike on the Khammam-Yellandu main road in Raghunadhapalem mandal on Saturday. Garlapati Rishika, 10, died on the spot, while Gundeti Srinivas, 18, succumbed to injuries at a Khammam hospital
Khammam: Two minors died in a road accident on Khammam-Yellandu main road in Raghunadhapalem mandal in the district on Saturday.
According to police, the incident occurred when eighteen-year-old Gundeti Srinivas of Green Colony in the mandal was going to the colony on a motorbike along with his relative Garlapati Rishika (10) of Ramanagutta area in Khammam city.
A car going to Hyderabad hit the motorbike, killing Rishika on the spot. Srinivas, who suffered grievous injuries, died while being treated at a hospital in Khammam. The local police registered a case in connection with the incident and took up the investigation.
