Visakhapatnam: Two more rakes of the prestigious AP Express have been branded by NMDC- one of the biggest customers of railways and the largest producers of Iron ore in India.
Earlier, the National Mineral Development Corporation did train branding of two rakes out of four rakes of AP Express. A cheque for Rs. One crore towards branding was handed over to Divisional Railway Manager of Waltair, Anup Satpathy by NMDC official Niranjan Naik on Friday, to complete branding of all the four rakes of AP Express.
According to Railway officials here, the train branding is a perfect way to attract the attention of commuters who travel by trains across the country. It is the easiest, fastest and most effective way to reach out to lakhs of consumers by advertising on train exterior. AP Express passes through Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh after commencing journey from Andhra Pradesh. It has good reach to the public during its journey, they point out.
