Hyderabad: Two most anticipated Telugu films hit OTT this March.
Agent, starring Akhil Akkineni, is now streaming on Sony LIV. The spy thriller, which was released in theaters in April 2023, faced negative reviews and failed to perform well at the box office.
After nearly two years, it has finally arrived on OTT. The film was initially set to premiere on March 14, but streaming began a day earlier.
Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments, the movie features Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead, while Malayalam superstar Mammootty plays a pivotal role. With the Holi festival and the weekend ahead, the film is expected to gain a good viewership.
Meanwhile, Brahmanandam, a family drama, is set to stream on Aha from March 19. The movie, which was released on Valentine’s Day, received a decent response but did not gain much recognition in theaters.
The film stars Raja Gautham, son of veteran comedian Brahmanandam, in the lead role, while Brahmanandam himself plays his grandfather. This marks their first on-screen collaboration.
Directed by RVS Nikhil and produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka, the movie also features Vennela Kishore, Priya Vadlamani, Divija Prabhakar, Sampath Raj, Rajeev Kanakala, Raghu Babu, Prabhakar and Talluri Rajeshwari in supporting roles.
