Two murders in 12 hours leave Hyderabad on edge
Two men were murdered in separate incidents in Hyderabad within 12 hours. An auto driver was strangled by his friend over a phone dispute in Tolichowki, while a panshop owner was stabbed to death by three known persons in Bandlaguda
Hyderabad: Two people were murdered within 12 hours at different places in the city, causing an alarm among the citizens.
In the first case, an auto rickshaw driver was strangulated to death at Tolichowki in the city on Thursday morning.
According to the police, Mohd Faheem alias Ayub, a resident of Hakeempet, Tolichowki, was killed by his friend Tariq, in the morning near S S Function Hall, Tolichowki road.
“There were issues pertaining to a cell phone between Ayub and Tariq due to which the latter strangulated Ayub with a rope, resulting in his death,” said ACP Golconda, Syed Fayaz.
The police registered a case and are investigating.
In the other incident, on Wednesday late night, a panshop owner, Mohd Mohsin (24), was present at his shop when three persons, Sohail, Fahad and Aamir, who are known to him, picked up a quarrel with him over some issue and stabbed him to death using a knife at Ghousenagar, Bandlaguda police station limits.
After stabbing the man, the trio fled away from the spot. The Bandlaguda police registered a case and are investigating.
