Bhupalpally/Mahabubabad: Two persons were allegedly murdered by their respective sons in different incidents in the erstwhile Warangal district.

Gode Nagabhushanam (49) was allegedly murdered on Sunday night at his quarter (T2 -658) at Bhupalpally by his son Jagadish. It is alleged that Jagadish had stabbed him to death and fled from the scene. Nagabhushanam was allegedly murdered by his son as the victim had married another woman following the demise of his first wife last year. Since then Jagadish developed a grudge over his father for marrying again. The police have shifted the body to Parkal CHC for autopsy. The victim was working in the KTK as a coal miner in the One Incline mine with the SCCL. The police have launched a manhunt for accused G Jagadish.

Meanwhile, the distribution of assets among the wards led to a fight between a father and son at Velubelli village of Kothaguda mandal in Mahabubabad district. In the fight, the son, Mahesh, had allegedly attacked his father Gundeboina Mysalu (60). Severely injured Mysalu succumbed to injures while being shifted to a hospital in Narsampet. Following the attack, Mahesh has escaped from the scene. Police have registered a case and are investigating it.
