Hyderabad: The Madhapur Police Special Operations Team caught two persons on charges of posing as vernacular news channel reporters and resorting to threatening and extortion at Miyapur. Police seized a bike, mobile phones and fake identity cards from them. Police sources said M Manik (32) and K Amarnath (33) allegedly threatened managers of massage centres to broadcast fake news and demanded money. Following a complaint from one of the massage centres, the SOT nabbed and handed them over to the Miyapur police.
