Bhupalpally: Two students of the SC Hostel at Gollabuddharam village were injured after suffering an electric shock on Saturday.
According to the victims, the incident occurred when hostel warden allegedly instructed them to cut tree branches within the premises. While chopping the branches, they accidentally came in contact with a live electricity distribution line, causing the shock.
One of the injured students, B Rajender, a ninth-class student, narrated the ordeal to the media. Both injured students were rushed to Bhupalpally Government Hospital, where doctors confirmed their condition is stable.
