Two UP workers die in an accident at Kakatiya Textile Park in Warangal
Two workers from Uttar Pradesh died in an accident at Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal after reportedly being trapped in a lift following an electric short circuit. Geesugonda police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
Warangal: Two workers have died in an accident at Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Geesugonda mandal in the district.
According to sources, the deceased workers, Abhilash (30) and Suryaprakash (31), died after being trapped in a lift following an electric short circuit that occurred late Wednesday night at a company operating in the Textile Park. The workers belong to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.
A boiler explosion was said to have triggered the electric short circuit, leading to the accident. Geesugonda police have arrived at the scene, registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
