Hyderabad: Two sisters were found dead under suspicious circumstances in their apartment at Karkhana in Secunderabad. They are suspected to have died by suicide.
Though details of when they died are not yet known, the incident came to light on Sunday, after the neighbours sensed a foul smell emanating from inside the house.
As per available information, the victims identified as Veena and Meena were unmarried and mostly lived behind closed doors. They did not interact much with the neighbours.
On Sunday, the locals informed the police after a foul smell was emanating from their apartment. The police suspect that they ended their lives by consuming unknown poisonous substance.
The Karkhana police reached the spot, collected details and shifted the bodies to the hospital for autopsy. Case is under investigation.
