Hyderabad: The EAGLE Force team of the Telangana police arrested two women, Cathy Hanchabila alias Emily (28) and Ellena Kasakatira (48), both residents of Mumbai, and seized 43 grams of cocaine and 11.5 grams of MDMA from them in the city.

According to the police, the two women had brought the drug consignment from Mumbai to the city and were working as drug carriers for a big cartel.

“The suspects came in contact with one Emeka, a Nigerian drug peddler, and started working as drug carriers for him. They boarded a bus in Mumbai and travelled to Hyderabad to deliver the drugs when, acting on information, they were caught,” said EAGLE Force officials.

The suspects were handed over to Masab Tank police station for further action.
