Two women washed away in Peddavagu canal in Kothagudem

Two women farm labourers from Andhra Pradesh were swept away in the Peddavagu project flood canal at Chennapuram in Kothagudem district on Saturday. The women accidentally slipped into the canal while returning home after work. Search operations are underway

Kothagudem: Two women labourers were washed away in Peddavagu project flood canal near Chennapuram in Aswaraopet mandal of the district on Saturday.

The women Paladugula Chennamma and Pachishala Varalakshmi accidentally fell into the canal when they were returning home after working in a field at Chennapuram. Both hailed from Puchikapadu of Andhra Pradesh.
