Two youngsters killed, one injured in motorbike mishap in Asifabad

Bejjur Sub-Inspector Praveen Kumar reported that Mesram Sai Kumar (20) from Dimda village in Chintalamanepalli mandal, Naitham Ajay (20) from Ippalaguda, and Shanmukha from Mogavelli village sustained severe injuries. Sai Kumar tragically died on the spot, while Ajay succumbed to his injuries during treatment at a hospital in Kagaznagar.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: New Year celebrations turned fatal for two youngsters as they were killed, while another youngster sustained injuries when they fell off the motorbike on which they were travelling at Ippalaguda village in Bejjur mandal on Tuesday evening.

Bejjur Sub-Inspector Praveen Kumar said Mesram Sai Kumar (20) from Dimda village in Chintalamanepalli mandal and Naitham Ajay (20) of Ippalaguda and Shanmukha belonging to Mogavelli village suffered critical injuries, resulting in spot death for Sai Kumar. Ajay breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kagaznagar.

Medical condition of Shanmukha is said to be critical. He is being treated at a hospital in Mancherial. Sai Kumar came to Ippalaguda to visit his aunt’s home. He and Ajay went to Mogavelli to meet Shanmukha. The two along with Shanmukha were on their way to Ippalaguda to celebrate the new year at the time of the mishap.

Overspeeding is suspected to be the cause of the accident. A case was registered. Investigation is on.
