Hyderabad: Two youngsters were killed after they were run over by an RTC bus at Chaderghat late on Wednesday night.

According to the police, Mohammed Altaf Ahmed (14) and Shoaib (20), both students and residents of Old Malakpet, were returning home on their motorbike after attending a marriage-related ceremony when the accident took place near Sohail Hotel on Malakpet road.

“Ahmed’s sister’s marriage was scheduled on Friday and the friends had gone to a ceremony related to the wedding. When they were returning, an RTC bus hit their bike,” the Chaderghat police said, adding that the bus driver was taken into custody.
