Kothagudem: Three-town police in Kothagudem cracked a murder case and arrested two youths involved in the killing.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, DSP Shaik Abdul Rahman said that a retired SCCL employee, Gubbala Rammohan Rao (58), was attacked by the accused at his house on Monday night. When he ran out seeking help, the accused hit him on the head with a hammer, killing him on the spot.
The accused, Mohammad Shaheer and his friend Vasampelli Vamshi of Ramavaram in the town, killed the retired SCCL employee over his alleged illicit relationship with a woman in Ramavaram, the DSP said.
