Two youths killed in a road accident in Kothagudem’s Dummugudem

Two brothers, aged 20 and 17, died on the spot after their motorcycle collided with a tractor in Dummugudem mandal of Kothagudem district. The accident occurred while they were returning home after completing college admission work in Bhadrachalam.

Kothagudem: Two youths, who happened to be brothers, have died in a road accident at Chinna Bandirevu village of Dummugudem mandal in the district.

The accident took place when the deceased, Chunchu Santhosh (20) and his brother Chunchu Charan Sai (17) were returning home on a motorbike after finishing college admission works at Bhadrachalam late in the evening on Thursday.


The bike forcefully hit a tractor coming in the opposite direction and the duo died on the spot. Bhadrachalam DSP Arun Kumar, Inspector of Police Venkatappaiah visited the spot and launched a probe into the incident.

The death of the youths caused a pall of gloom to descend on Gompelli village, in Cherla mandal, to which the deceased belong to. The bodies were handed over to the family members after a postmortem on Friday.
