‘Bachelor Nation’ star Tyler Cameron is giving an insight into his life in his memoir ‘You Deserve Better: What Life Has Taught Me About Love, Relationships, and Becoming Your Best Self’. He is opening up about his time on ‘The Bachelorette’, what it’s like to be a “party boy” and losing his virginity.
Tyler revealed that he became the “ultimate party boy” after his high school girlfriend cheated on him. This even led to him being blacklisted from certain sororities because he hooked up with too many girls.
The 27-year-old shared that he lost his v-card on his mom’s bed while he was in high school. This caused him a lot of anxiety. “What if I’ve gotten her pregnant? I didn’t know what to do. I know now that communication is key, but instead of reaching out to her, I kept my feelings to myself,” shared Tyler in his memoir.
Tyler went on to say that he started “spiralling” and ghosted the girl, as per Just Jared. She called him out on Facebook, writing, “How could you do this? You hooked up with me and disappeared?!”
“Of course she felt that way. That’s exactly what it looked like to her. But I honestly wasn’t ghosting her; I was just freaked out,” explained Tyler.
However, all this became a learning experience for Tyler. He understood how to treat women better.
