Typist arrested for Rs. 1.5 lakh fraud in Telangana’s Nirmal

Adilabad: A court typist in Nirmal was arrested on Thursday for allegedly duping members of the public by promising government house sites in exchange for money.
According to police, Mohammed Tajuddin, who worked as a typist at a Nirmal court, collected Rs. 1.5 lakh each from several individuals by claiming he could secure them house sites in Khanapur town.
The fraud came to light when one of the victims, Manjula, approached the police after realising she had been cheated with forged documents. A case was registered against Tajuddin, and a special team was formed to track him down.
The team apprehended him in Bhainsa and produced him before a court in Nirmal. Police revealed that Tajuddin had previously been booked in seven similar cheating cases.
