U-18 State Basketball Coaching Camp underway at Woxsen Sports Academy

The Telangana Basketball Association, in collaboration with Woxsen University, is hosting a month-long U-18 residential coaching camp in Sangareddy. Forty-nine young athletes are preparing for the 75th Junior National Basketball Championship under expert guidance and structured training programs

Sangareddy: The U-18 State Basketball Coaching Camp, organised by the Telangana Basketball Association (TBA) in collaboration with Woxsen University, is currently underway at the Woxsen Sports Academy in Kamkole, Sangareddy district. The month-long residential camp, which began earlier this month, will conclude on August 30.

A total of 49 young athletes—24 boys and 25 girls—selected from districts across Telangana are training for the upcoming 75th Junior National Basketball Championship. The players were shortlisted based on their performances in state-level trials conducted by the TBA.

Training sessions are being closely monitored by TBA General Secretary Pridhvishwar Reddy, while strength and conditioning coaching is handled by Honey Mishra from Woxsen Sports Academy.
