Umesh Kumar takes charge as Satavahana University VC
Umesh Kumar, who earlier worked as the Register of the university, has been appointed as VC by the State government.
Karimnagar: Prof Umesh Kumar on Monday took charge as Vice-Chancellor of Satavahana University. Umesh Kumar, who earlier worked as the Register of the university, has been appointed as VC by the State government.
Speaking on the occasion, he promised to develop the university as gurukulam in the next three years besides working for the welfare of students. Assuring to introduce the new courses, he promised to take initiative to convert self-finance courses into regular courses. Promising to develop the university with the cooperation of staff and students, he also assured to strive hard to get National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) grade for the university.
On the occasion, teaching and non-teach staff of the university congratulated the new VC.
