UN Health team visits Sangareddy
A team from UNDP and the National Centre for Disease Control visited Sangareddy to review government and veterinary hospital facilities under the National One Health Mission. The officials interacted with doctors and departments to study health risks and preparedness

Sangareddy: Representatives of the United Nations Development Programme and the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) visited Sangareddy to assess the existing facilities in government and veterinary hospitals.
As Sangareddy has been selected for the National One Health Mission (NOHM), the officials, accompanied by District Medical and Health Officer Dr Vasantha Rao, met Collector P Pravinya. Later, they also visited the T-Diagnostic Centre hospital.
The team interacted with veterinary department doctors and discussed diseases that could possibly spread from animals to humans. They also interacted with officials of concerned departments to understand health-related issues. UNDP Consultant Athul Anand, Sanjeev Saini of NCDC, Consultant Entomologist Vetrivel and others were present.
