Khammam: An elderly man in Khammam’s Ramchandravaram, died barely hours after his wife passed away.

According to sources, an 81-year-old farmer, B Hanuma Reddy’s wife Yashoda (76) fell down in their house, sustained grievous head injury and died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Khammam on Monday.


On hearing the news of his wife’s death, Hanuma Reddy suddenly collapsed in the house. He was rushed to a local hospital where the doctors declared him dead due to a heart stroke.

A pall of gloom descended on the village with the death of the couple the same day with the villagers saluting them as they remained united even in death.
