Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man, reportedly upset over not finding a suitable match to get married, died, allegedly by suicide, in his house at Sanjay Gandhi Nagar in Falaknuma late on Thursday.
The man, Syed Amjad, a tailor, was not married yet and his efforts to find a suitable alliance were unsuccessful so far. As he was alone, he is suspected to have slipped into depression.
According to the police, for the last few days, Syed Amjad was staying back in the tailoring shop without going home. He is suspected to have hanged himself to death from the ceiling fan in the shop.
The neighbours found him dead and informed his family members. They suspect Amjad was depressed over not getting married and ended his life.
The Falaknuma police are investigating.
