Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s announcement of filling 80,039 vacancies in the State, created a huge buzz in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. Unemployed youth from Visakhaptnam and Vijayawada hailed a massive recruitment drive by the Telangana government and urged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to become the hero for the unemployed youth in his State by issuing government job notifications immediately.
Andhra Pradesh Unemployed Joint Action Committee and Andhra Pradesh Citizens Welfare Association organised celebrations lauding Chandrashekhar Rao for providing his mettle by realising the slogan of ‘Neellu-Nidhulu-Niyaamakaalu’ (Water-Funds-Jobs) which led to creation of Telangana State. They performed ‘Abhishekam’ by pouring milk on the protrait of the Telangana Chief Minister on the occasion.

Participating in the celebrations in Visakhapatnam, AP Citizens Welfare Association convener D Raman Raju said the Telangana Chief Minister has become a hero for the people of his State by announcing the jumbo recruitment and felt that it was the turn of Jagan Mohan Reddy to follow the footsteps to become a hero for the youngsters of Andhra Pradesh. He demanded that the Andhra Pradesh government do justice to the unemployed who have been waiting for government job notifications since the State bifurcation.
