Unidentified suspects steal cash, cards from passenger on Ajanta Express

A techie travelling on the Ajanta Express had Rs 7,000 and his debit and credit cards stolen near Medchal railway station. Kacheguda Railway Police registered a case, which has now been transferred to Secunderabad Railway Police for further investigation.

Hyderabad: Unidentified suspects committed theft of cash and other valuables belonging to a techie on the Ajanta Express while it was en route to Kacheguda.

According to Kacheguda Railway Police, Sai Suraj, a software engineer and resident of 9th Phase, KPHB Colony, was travelling on the train to Kacheguda, when unknown persons stole Rs 7,000 in cash along with his debit and credit cards from his bag near Medchal railway station.


Following a complaint lodged by the victim on Tuesday, Kacheguda Railway Police registered a case and later transferred it to Secunderabad Railway Police Station for further investigation.
