Unidentified vehicle mows down morning walker in Mancherial

Mancherial: A morning walker died on the spot, while another sustained injuries when an unidentified vehicle rammed them between Venkatraopet and Kotturu villages early on Friday.

According to Luxettipet police, the deceased was identified as Bommidi Arun Kumar (26), a native of Venkatraopet village. Arun died on the spot as he sustained grievous injuries in the incident. Regunta Mahesh sustained minor injuries.

The duo, along with two others, were out on a morning walk from Venkatraopet to Kottur when the incident occurred. According to police, no complaint was lodged so far.
