Unidentified woman brutally killed in Medchal, probe on
An unidentified woman in her late 30s was found murdered near the Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple in Medchal on Sunday evening. Locals discovered the body and alerted police, who launched an investigation.
Hyderabad: A woman was brutally murdered by unidentified persons near the Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple in Medchal in the suburbs on Sunday evening.
According to police, locals noticed the body near the temple premises and alerted the authorities. Upon receiving the information, the police teams reached the spot and took up the investigation.
A preliminary investigation suggested that the assailants had slit the woman’s throat and killed her. The victim is believed to be between 35 and 38 years old. Her identity is yet to be established.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway to identify the victim and trace those responsible for the murder.
Police are also verifying whether the woman was brought to the spot from another location before the crime was committed.
